A Little Conversation with Mom
hi guys. I wanna share my experience again :D
I've had a conversation with my mom. Well, it was almost 2weeks ago, it was just a little conversation every dinner, we usually talk about all the stuff, from food, weather, airport to religion and politic. And the one that we had was about economy.
We were talking about electricity, and then i'm getting surprised when i heard that they have to pay for about 300 to 500 bucks every month, just for the electricity! Oh gosh, in my country, we just have to pay about 10-40 bucks (depends on how we use it) and we still getting mad if the electricity company increase the tariff! (well, remembering how many blackout that we had every month....) and i've just realized that is because PRIVATE COMPANY regulate it. Wow. Sounds really different from the system in my country. I think most government in all over country in the world always regulate and take control all the stuff that related to all citizens' need (such as electricity, gas, water, etc.) well i'm sounds katro and not update, but i mean, i just realize that the government in here really don't interfere much in all those things. Well, mom said the government still manage the rules and the regulations about those company and (maybe) a little about the rates, but they don't control it in the whole thing. Soooo, i'm just wondering, they must be really wealthy, because of those authority that they had to adjust the rates, rite? Well, economic law and competition still affect it, but if they are a big company and could monopoly it, must be easy for them to set the rates as what they want. Hmmm...
And then i asked my mom, sooo with all the high bill that they have to pay for every month, how usa can be a world power? And i've just got the answer, maybe those big company make usa as a strong economic country. And the stronger the company, the more they can be a world power and the more they can influence other country affairs. Hmm. The socialist system that my country have, probably the reason why it takes a long time for us to develop, with all the problem such as poverty, unemployment, education and bla bla bla that we have.
Well, that's for now. Once again, that's just one of my thought and my idea. Don't take it personally fellas! ;)
see ya in the next posting :D
